Detailed reports for Exchange migration

This report provides key details, including the status of every mailbox migration, any encountered errors or warnings, and a summary of migrated items across all folders and mailboxes. This log is crucial for effectively tracking and managing the migration process, offering valuable insights for a thorough evaluation.

In addition, EdbMails offers specialized reports for various aspects of the migration:

Overall migration summary: A clear overview of the entire migration operation.
Job-specific migration report: Detailed insights into individual migration tasks or jobs.
Mailbox-specific report: In-depth information on the status and issues of specific mailboxes.

These reports are designed to ensure clarity and support informed decision-making throughout the migration process.

How to view the Exchange migration report?

To view the migration report in EdbMails, follow these steps:

In the main migration window, click on the 'View Log' button located in the left navigation pane.
Choose the operation type
Click ‘View’ under the ‘Log Details’ column.

Overall migration summary:

Overall migration summary covers essential information such as the application version, access email address, source mailboxes and folder specifics, the number of threads employed during the migration, filter settings (include/exclude), and the total items migrated for the job.

Job-specific migration report:

EdbMails generates reports categorized by job names specified by the user during migration. These job names appear in the left column of the log table. To view this report refer to the screenshot below:

Individual mailbox migration report:

The individual mailbox report includes details on source and target mailbox names, the total count of migrated items, information on excluded folders, timestamp specifics, the number of items migrated in previous sessions, and any encountered migration errors. To view this report refer to the screenshot below:

Click 'view' in the 'Log Details' column for the row corresponding to the specific job name.
Click ‘View’ from the required mailboxes row
