Where to install
For IMAP Email Backup and migration, install EdbMails on any windows machine.
- Any client workstation with connection to the source and the target server.
- For Hosted Exchange and Office 365 Migration: Install EdbMails on any machine connected to both the source and the target environment.

Hardware
We recommend that you use at least a quad-core CPU with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM.
Size on disk after installation
Size of the installation file
- Installation of additional components (like .NET framework) 100 MB of available disk space.
- The application doesn't store the data, being migrated at any temp location on your local disk.
- Meta-data for Incremental check will be of the minimal size required.
- EdbMails requires an Internet connection ONLY to authenticate your login credentials and to verify the number of available and used mailboxes licenses. In addition, you may require the Internet connection to migrate your Office 365 mailbox data.

You need to install Outlook: MS Outlook: 2019 / 2016 / 2013 / 2010 / 2007
