Assign public folders to one target destination
While performing public folder migration, if you have a large number of public folders then it’s a quite hectic process to map it to one destination public folder or to a mailbox. To avoid this EdbMails introduced a feature where a large number of public folders can be mapped to one destination public folder in just one click. While mapping mailboxes from source to the destination server, you will have the option to map the same mailbox with all the source mailboxes.
How to assign public folder to one target destination
During mapping of the Public folders, Click the button Select the Target mailboxes from existing list.
After selecting the destination Public folder or a mailbox from existing list, you’ll have the option to map to the same Public folder to all the source Public folders or to a mailbox by checking 'Map the selected mailbox with all the source mailboxes' option.
All the source mailboxes will be mapped with same destination mailboxes.
Advantages:
Mailbox Mapping is the difficult task when we are migrating large number of mailboxes to destination server, this can be avoided by using EdbMails migration tool which helps to map the large source mailbox list to same destination mailbox which saves a lot of migration time.
